In this vital role, you will assist with meal service, food preparation, and sanitation to ensure a safe, nutritious, and welcoming environment. Your positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service will help create a comfortable dining experience for all residents and staff. Duties Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards. Serve meals to residents with professionalism, kindness, and respect, ensuring proper portioning and presentation. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchens, and food handling equipment through regular sanitation and sanitation procedures. Support food handling activities including bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and ensuring proper food storage practices. Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Help with kitchen organization, including stocking supplies, inventory management, and maintaining sanitation standards. Collaborate with dietary team members to support efficient meal delivery and resident satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or food service industries is highly preferred. Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices. Experience with food handling, cooking, cleaning, bussing or meal preparation is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach toward residents and staff. Familiarity with dietary department operations or dietetics is a plus.
