Oakwood Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the dietary needs of our residents are met with excellence and care. Responsibilities:
Assist the dietary team in preparing and serving meals, as well as maintaining a clean and organized dining environment Deliver and collect food trays to and from resident rooms, ensuring prompt and courteous service Assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving food and supplies Support menu planning and implementation, as needed Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory, food temperatures, and resident preferences Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure dietary restrictions and special requests are met Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends Basic computer skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale systems
