+ Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. + Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. + Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. + Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate with others in an effective manner that facilitates problem solving, interacts in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner. [Required]
- Ability to explain nutrition related queries and have sound understanding of all the related terms. [Required]
- May coordinate with the dietician on the diet needs. [Required]
- Good listening skills and communication skills. [Required]
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English and understand food service terms. [Required]
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. [Required]
- Have the ability to utilize FIFO method and label and date food correctly.

- High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]
