Job Description

Join Our Team! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our Dietary Department and ensure the highest standards of nutrition, food quality, and resident satisfaction. This position plays a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents through effective dietary management and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Plan, organize, direct, and supervise all dietary department operations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including long-term care dietary requirements. Develop and monitor menus that meet residents' nutritional needs and physician orders. Oversee food purchasing, inventory management, and budget controls. Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with nursing staff, residents, families, and healthcare providers regarding nutritional care. Participate in care planning and quality assurance activities. Ensure a positive dining experience for residents. Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential preferred. ServSafe certification preferred. Previous experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare dietary setting required. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutrition principles, and food service management. Ability to effectively manage staff and departmental operations.
