Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and portioning of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences Serve meals in a courteous, timely manner while maintaining proper food safety protocols Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and inviting for residents and staff Help with cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas after meal service Support residents during mealtimes, offering assistance as needed to promote independence and dignity Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and infection control Monitor residents' dietary needs and report any concerns or special requests to the appropriate team members Experience Previous experience in food service or healthcare settings is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety standards consistently Strong communication skills with a friendly, respectful approach toward residents and team members Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies A positive attitude focused on teamwork, compassion, and excellent service delivery Join us in creating a warm, nourishing environment where residents feel cared for every day!
