Job Description

Dietary Aide - $18 an hour with weekly pay!
Job Summary:
Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich is seeking full-time and part-time Dietary Aides to join our team! As a Dining Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents. We offer competitive hourly wages, weekly pay, and a supportive work environment. 40 hours available on 6:30a-2:30p shift and 24 hours available on 3p-8p shift.
Responsibilities:
Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physician Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages Deliver meals on a timely basis Maintain visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishes Adhere to daily nourishment lists and stock nourishment stations Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times Adhere to sanitation and storage policies and procedures Perform other duties assigned by the dining director
Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must be able to follow oral and written communication Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of dining service areas Must perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioning Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing dietary practices Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
