$[Hourly Rate] per hour Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The Dietary Aide assists in the preparation, service, and cleanup of meals while ensuring residents, patients, or clients receive nutritious meals in a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, and committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and portion food items according to menus and dietary requirements. Assist with meal tray assembly and meal service. Deliver meals and beverages to residents or patients as needed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Stock food, supplies, and inventory items. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures. Assist cooks and dietary staff with food preparation tasks. Properly store food and monitor temperatures according to regulations. Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, patients, guests, and staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous food service, dietary, restaurant, healthcare, or long-term care experience is a plus but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety practices. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds throughout the shift. Must be dependable and punctual.
