Duties Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established menus and dietary guidelines Organize and stock pantry supplies, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and easily accessible Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pantry area, including washing dishes, utensils, and food prep equipment Support kitchen staff with food handling, portioning, and basic cooking tasks as needed Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Help with menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming meals or special dietary needs Serve food to residents or guests in a courteous and efficient manner while adhering to proper serving techniques Qualifications Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards Experience with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations in restaurants or the food industry Strong knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Basic understanding of menu planning, catering, and serving procedures is a plus Join us as a Pantry Worker and bring your culinary enthusiasm to life!
