As a Dietary Aide, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and patients by preparing delicious and nutritious meals, ensuring food safety and quality, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Prepare meals for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu Utilize proper food handling and food safety techniques according to established policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations Ensure food is served in an attractive, appetizing manner Label, date, and store food properly according to established policies Monitor and record refrigerator and freezer temperatures Maintain cleanliness and perform cleaning and infection control practices according to established policies Assist in receiving, storing, and verifying invoices for incoming food, supplies, etc. Maintain the security of the department Perform all duties using proper safety techniques Interact appropriately and in a positive manner with residents, families, and visitors

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in the food industry preferred
