Job Description

Keller Lake Commons is an assisted living facility which offers exceptional cares and a best in class working environment. We're currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our team.
Hiring For:

The Dietary Aide will also assist with dining room set-up, serving, clearing and washing dishes and help maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen. Essential Functions Assists with meal set-up. Sets tables in the dining room. Prepares beverages for each meal. Assists the cook with food preparation. Prepares salads, desserts or other food for the meal under the Cook's direction.. Uses proper food preparation techniques to ensure food safety. Prepares food using sanitation and proper food preparation techniques and standard including proper food serving temperatures. Follows all "HACCP" standards. Maintains a "clean as you go" attitude. Keeps all work areas clean, neat, sanitized and free from clutter. Sanitizes work surfaces before food preparation. Ensures that the kitchen area is safe and maintained according to state and local sanitary standards. Cleans the kitchen daily according to the established cleaning schedule for the kitchen area including equipment. Ensures that equipment is turned off at the end of each day. Keeps the cooler and freezer clean and neat and makes sure all items are labeled and dated. Cleans up after meals. Clears dishes from tables and wipes tables using the proper sanitizer. Washes and puts away dishes.
