Full Job Description Responsibilities/Job Description:
Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to for St. Johns Hospital! This is a part time opportunity offering 18 hours per a 2-week pay period. This position is not benefit eligible. To prepare food according to guidelines, stock supplies, provide service to all customers and/or perform tasks that relate to food preparation, sanitation, and service. Schedule Week 1
Wednesday:
4:15pm-8:00pm
Saturday:
4:15pm-8:00pm
Sunday:
4:15pm-8:00pm Week 2
Tuesday:
4:15pm-8:00pm
Thursday:
4:15pm-8:00pm Responsibilities Prepares food in an efficient, safe, and timely manner according to department service times and schedules, using standardized recipes and following proper techniques. Covers, labels, dates, and rotates all food prior to storing to ensure department and regulatory agency standards are met. Washes dishes and/or pots and pans according to established procedures and time frames. Practices proper infection control methods including handwashing, personal hygiene, and infection control policies. Performs a specific task on trayline during the assembly of patient trays. Delivers trays to patients, collects trays after meal service. Delivers floor stock and/or nourishments to patients and nursing unit. Performs a variety of cafeteria and/or coffee shop duties which may include plating, using portion control and cashiering operation. Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards. Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements. Qualifications Required Must be at least 16 years of age No experience required No Academic Credentials Preferred Actively pursing a high school diploma or equivalent preferred
