  • Assists the cook with food preparation.
  • Serve meals trays - uses proper food preparation techniques to ensure food safety.
  • Ensures that the kitchen area is safe and maintained according to state and local sanitary standards.
  • Wash and store dishes following facility procedures.
Clean food serving areas and storage equipment. Required Qualifications  Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.  Serve meals from standardized recipes in accordance with the menu and ensures proper portioning, and serving of foods in a safe and sanitary manner.  Assists in ordering food and kitchen supplies  Assists in execution of special events and functions.  Keeps stock coolers, and freezers clean.
