Part Time. Every other weekend At The Shores of Worthington , we are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents in a safe, welcoming environment. As a trusted skilled nursing facility, we believe that proper nutrition plays a vital role in our residents' health and well-being. We're looking for a dedicated and dependable Dietary Aide to join our team and help make difference every day.
Position Summary:
The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area, and ensuring that residents receive meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary restrictions. Set up dining areas for meals and clean up afterward. Deliver food trays to residents and assist as needed during meal times. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; maintain cleanliness of food preparation and storage areas. Follow infection control and safety procedures. Ensure excellent customer service with a friendly, positive attitude.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a healthcare or food service setting is a plus but not required. Ability to read, understand and follow dietary instructions and menus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.
