$15hr Aspire Senior Living Advance is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We strive to create a welcoming, home-like environment where residents receive the highest standard of service. We're looking for compassionate, team-oriented Dietary Aide/Cook to join our dietary team. Dietary Aide/Cook is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of meals to our residents, ensuring that dietary needs are met in a safe, clean, cooking and respectful environment. This Dietary Aide/Cook role plays an important part in enhancing residents' dining experiences and supporting their nutritional well-being.
Dietary Aide/Cook Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and residents' preferences. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, following health and safety protocols. Engage with residents respectfully, addressing their dietary needs and preferences with a friendly attitude. Adhere to all dietary procedures, facility policies, and state/federal regulations.
Dietary Aide/Cook Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current Food Handler certification. Prior experience in a dietary, kitchen, or food service role is a plus, especially in a long-term care or healthcare setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
