Duties Assist with food production and meal preparation according to dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents or patients with professionalism and friendly customer service Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food handling equipment Buss tables, clear trays, and ensure dining areas are tidy and inviting for residents Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Support the dietary department by organizing supplies, stocking food items, and assisting with inventory management Help with general kitchen tasks such as cooking, sanitation, and meal assembly to ensure timely service Experience Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with food preparation, serving, cleaning, and sanitation practices in a healthcare or hospitality setting is highly valued Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities during busy meal times Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential Experience working in a team-oriented environment with excellent customer service skills is a plus Prior dietary aide or kitchen experience related to dietetics or food service will enhance your ability to succeed in this role Join us in making a meaningful difference through nourishing care!
