Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Dietary Aide to prepare various items and trays for residents in Long Term Care Nursing facility. You will prepare trays with accuracy, attention to detail and ensure good sanitary conditions. A Dietary Aide must be capable to prepare food following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards. They must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach. They must provide attention to detail to diet types and regulations. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards. A excellent dietary aide will be able to prove excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities Prepare cold preparation items under the supervision of a cook/supervisor. Deliver dishes and trays at designated times. Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc. Discard leftovers and take out garbage Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware Stock ingredients and monitor inventory. Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances. Skills Proven experience as a dietary aide Excellent customer service Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines Ability to work quickly and efficiently Friendly with good communication skills Good physical condition and stamina. High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Serv Safe or food handler preferred.
