Dietary Manager

Casa Arena Healthcare is seeking a passionate and experienced Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department and help create an exceptional dining experience for our residents. We are looking for someone who understands that nutrition is more than meals — it is an important part of healing, quality of life, customer service, and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, knowledge of healthcare dietary operations, and a commitment to providing high-quality nutritional services in a skilled nursing environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the dietary department to ensure quality meal service and resident satisfaction Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutritional care plans based on resident needs and physician orders Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to support resident health and wellness Supervise, schedule, train, and support dietary staff while promoting a positive team culture Ensure meals are prepared and served in compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Monitor food safety, sanitation, infection control, and kitchen cleanliness standards Manage food inventory, ordering, budgeting, and cost controls effectively Conduct resident assessments and monitor nutritional status, intake, weight trends, and special dietary needs Oversee specialized nutrition support, including therapeutic diets and tube feeding protocols as appropriate Participate in care plan meetings, quality assurance activities, and survey preparedness initiatives Promote hospitality-focused dining experiences that enhance resident dignity and quality of life Qualifications Previous experience as a Dietary Manager in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification Knowledge of clinical nutrition, therapeutic diets, and food safety regulations Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and staffing oversight Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams Compassionate, customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for resident care Benefits Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement At Casa Arena Healthcare, we believe great care starts with great people. $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
