Job Summary:
A Dietary Aide supports the nutritional care of residents by assisting with meal preparation, service, and sanitation. This role ensures residents receive meals that meet dietary guidelines, physician-ordered restrictions, and individual preferences. The Dietary Aide works closely with the dietary team to maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining environment while providing courteous and respectful service to residents. _____________________________________________________________________
Compensation:
$14.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion food items according to standardized recipes and diet orders Serve meals and beverages following proper portion control and sanitation guidelines Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and dining areas Follow food safety, infection control, and facility policies Stock supplies and assist with inventory as directed Report any resident concerns or changes in appetite to nursing or dietary staff __________________________________________________________ ___________
Qualifications:
Required:
Food handler's certification (as required by state regulations) Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Compassion and patience when working with elderly residents
Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent _____________________________________________________________________
