The Dietary Aide plays an important role in providing quality meal service to our residents while maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to resident diet orders Assist with meal tray setup and delivery Ensure food portions and presentation meet facility standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, dishes, and equipment Follow all infection control, food safety, and sanitation guidelines Assist residents during mealtimes as needed Properly store food and monitor food temperatures Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, residents, and families Complete assigned cleaning duties and other tasks as directed Qualifications Previous dietary or food service experience preferred Experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable attendance and punctuality required Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Schedule Weekends and holidays may be required
