In this energized role, you will assist with food preparation, service, and sanitation to ensure residents or patients receive nutritious, appealing meals in a warm and welcoming environment. Your positive attitude and commitment to food safety will help create a comfortable dining experience for all. Responsibilities Assist with food production and meal preparation, following established recipes and safety guidelines Serve meals to residents or patients with friendly, attentive customer service Maintain cleanliness of the dietary department, including cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas Distribute and collect menus as necessary. Obtain food supplies for next meal. Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures Help with meal setup, portioning, and delivery to ensure timely service Support the dietary team in maintaining a safe and organized work environment through effective cleaning and sanitation practices Requirements Previous experience in Skilled nursing facility, or nursing home, settings is highly preferred Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving, and sanitation standards Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Experience with food handling, cooking, and meal preparation techniques Familiarity with dietary department procedures and food safety regulations Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us as a Dietary Aide and be part of a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing the well-being of those we serve through nutritious meals and exceptional care!
