Do you love animals and enjoy providing exceptional care? If wet nose kisses, puppy snuggles, and adventures with some canine friends sound like your kind of fun, we'd love for you to join our team as a kennel assistant at Ledgewood Boarding! We can't wait to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
Sanitation and Maintenance:
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all indoor and outdoor kennels, as well as play areas, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our boarding guests. This includes the use of appropriate cleaning supplies and adherence to strict hygiene protocols.
Food Preparation:
- Prepare nutritious meals according to specific dietary requirements for each animal. This responsibility entails measuring food portions and ensuring that all dietary needs are met.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with scheduling appointments and performing light office tasks. This may include managing paperwork associated with guest check-ins and check-outs, as well as maintaining accurate records of boarding guests.
Guest Interactions:
- Engage in play and exercise activities with all boarding guests, fostering a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Building rapport with the animals is essential to ensure their comfort and well-being during their stay.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize accidents and ensure the well-being of both staff and animals.
