Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Dietary Aide, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals to our residents. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assist in meal preparation, food service, and sanitation efforts within a vibrant healthcare environment. Your positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure residents enjoy a comfortable dining experience while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents with kindness, professionalism, and attention to individual dietary needs Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food handling equipment through proper sanitation practices Support food handling procedures, including bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and organizing supplies Follow all food safety regulations to ensure proper storage, temperature control, and hygiene protocols are upheld Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Contribute to a positive dining environment by providing friendly customer service and addressing resident requests promptly Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation standards is highly desirable Strong time management skills to efficiently handle meal schedules and cleaning routines Ability to follow detailed instructions related to dietary requirements and safety protocols Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude toward residents and team members Familiarity with food handling, cooking, bussing, and sanitation practices in a healthcare or culinary setting is advantageous Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning Join us in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where nutritious meals make a meaningful difference in residents' lives. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
