Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality food service to residents in our facility, ensuring that all dietary needs are met with care and attention. This position is essential in maintaining the overall health and satisfaction of our residents through proper meal preparation and food handling practices. Duties Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed during food production and service Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining areas, and food storage spaces, including regular cleaning of equipment and utensils Buss tables and assist with dishwashing duties as needed Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any dietary concerns or preferences Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure proper meal planning and execution Support kitchen staff with cooking and meal preparation tasks as required Adhere to all health regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices Experience Previous experience in nursing home is preferred Background in the food industry or culinary experience is highly desirable Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities, including meal preparation, food service, and sanitation practices Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety guidelines and best practices for handling food Join our team as a Dietary Aide where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents through your commitment to quality food service and care.
