Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional nutritional support within an assisted living or nursing home environment. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, food service, and sanitation duties, ensuring residents receive nutritious and well-presented meals. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of our residents while working in a supportive and professional setting. Duties Assist with food production, meal preparation, and serving in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas Support dietary department operations including bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and maintaining sanitation protocols Help with food safety procedures, including proper storage and temperature control of ingredients Collaborate with kitchen staff to prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and sanitation Provide excellent customer service by attending to residents' meal needs courteously and efficiently in a Christ-like demeanor All other duties as assigned Experience Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred Culinary or dietary aide experience is highly desirable Familiarity with food production, food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols is beneficial Strong time management skills to efficiently coordinate meal preparation and service Experience in food service or catering roles demonstrating customer service skills is advantageous Knowledge of dietetics or dietary department operations can be a plus This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be attentive to detail, organized, and passionate about supporting the nutritional needs of our residents.
