  • Full-time We are looking for an energetic and passionate Dietary Manager to join our team!
We are a 57 bed skilled nursing facility, located in Coal Grove, Ohio. The primary purpose of your job position is to ensure food is prepared, served, and maintained in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language
  • Must possess the ability to supervise including scheduling, hiring, corrective counseling & terminations as needed
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies / personnel, and the general public
  • Must be knowledgeable of food procedures
  • Must be able to ensure all dietary needs of residents are met on a daily basis and dietary staff are properly trained to do so
  • Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
  • Must be able to complete all other tasks as assigned by the Direct Supervisor, or designee
Qualifications:
Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year of food experience as a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility preferred, but not necessary. Education and / or
Experiences:
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and hold current certificates per licensure regulations
