This role is responsible for ensuring nutritious, appealing, and safe meals while meeting residents' dietary needs, regulatory requirements, and service expectations. The ideal candidate is organized, resident-focused, and experienced in senior dining operations. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and oversee daily meals that meet residents' nutritional needs and preferences Ensure compliance with state regulations, dietary guidelines, and food safety standards (OSHA, ServSafe, infection control) Manage dietary staff scheduling, training, and performance Coordinate therapeutic and special diets per physician orders and care plans Maintain accurate documentation related to menus, food temperatures, sanitation logs, and inspections Monitor food costs, ordering, inventory, and waste control Collaborate with nursing, care staff, and administration regarding resident dietary needs Address resident and family concerns related to meals and dining services Ensure a clean, welcoming dining environment that promotes dignity and choice Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Dietary Manager Certification or equivalent preferred (or willingness to obtain) Previous dietary management experience in assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting required Knowledge of therapeutic diets and senior nutrition ServSafe certification preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to pass background checks and health screenings Why Join Our Team Consistent daytime schedule Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment Opportunity to positively impact residents' quality of life Competitive pay and benefits package (for eligible employees) Stable work environment in a mission-driven community How to Apply Apply online through Apploi or submit your application today.
