As a Dietary Aide, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional meal service and care.
Job Summary:
As a Dietary Aide, you'll assist in meal preparation, dining service, and cleanup for residents, promoting a positive and social dining environment. You'll work closely with our culinary team to deliver high-quality meals and snacks, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen and dining area.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Set up dining room, serve meals, and assist residents during meal times Deliver meal trays and snacks; ensure food is served at proper temperature Assist cook with food preparation and cleaning as needed Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and maintain clean kitchen/dining areas Remove trash and recycling; restock supplies; rotate stored foods Follow infection control and food safety protocols Wear appropriate PPE; maintain hand hygiene and clean uniforms Report any safety or sanitation concerns immediately High school diploma or GED preferred Experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare setting preferred Ability to follow directions and maintain sanitation standards Friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
Essential Skills and Abilities:
