They ensure food safety, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and follow special dietary requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks according to established menus and dietary guidelines. Set up dining areas, including arranging tables, utensils, and condiments. Deliver meals to residents or patients in dining areas or rooms. Monitor and record food temperatures and portion sizes. Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and sanitize work areas to meet health and safety standards. Label and store food properly to avoid spoilage and contamination. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures. Communicate effectively with dietary staff, nurses, and residents about food preferences or restrictions. Assist with inventory and restocking of food and supplies. Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate, or as may be directed by the Dietary Manager. Toledo, OH 43614 (Required)
