Now Hiring:
Dietary Aide & Cook ? Cedarvale Commons - Washington Courthouse, Ohio Cedarvale Commons is seeking dedicated and dependable Dietary Aides and Cooks to join our dietary team. If you're passionate about food service and enjoy making a difference in the daily lives of others, we'd love to meet you! Position Overview Our Dietary Aides and Cooks work together to provide residents with nutritious, appetizing meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. These roles are essential to ensuring a positive dining experience for all residents.
Key Responsibilities Dietary Aide:
Assist with meal service, including tray setup and delivery Help residents during mealtimes as needed Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines Support the dietary team with daily operations
Cook:
Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary requirements Ensure food is prepared and served at proper temperatures Follow portion control and therapeutic diet guidelines Maintain a clean, organized kitchen Assist with inventory and food storage Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
Qualifications Dietary Aide:
Previous food service experience preferred, but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Positive, resident-focused attitude
Cook:
Previous cooking experience, preferably in healthcare or food service Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions accurately Strong organizational and time management skills
For Both Roles:
Dependable and team-oriented Willingness to learn and grow Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience.
