Activity Supervisor Hot Job Heritage at Brandon Place - Oklahoma City, OK 73142 Apply Apply Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and organized Dietary Manager to lead the Dietary Services department at our Skilled Nursing Facility. The Dietary Manager is responsible for overseeing food service operations, ensuring residents receive nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements, and maintaining compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, knowledge of dietary regulations in long-term care, and a commitment to providing quality service to residents. Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the dietary department , including meal preparation, service, and sanitation Supervise and schedule dietary staff including cooks and dietary aides Ensure meals meet physician orders and therapeutic diet requirements Work closely with the Registered Dietitian to implement approved menus and nutrition plans Maintain compliance with state, federal, and health department regulations Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards Manage food inventory, ordering, and budget control Conduct staff training and performance evaluations Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and temperature monitoring Address resident dietary concerns and maintain high levels of resident satisfaction Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred or required depending on state regulations High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in nutrition, food service management, or related field preferred) Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare dietary management preferred Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety regulations Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage staff and maintain regulatory compliance Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
