We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at ISH Dining Services in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food service to our residents. If you are passionate about food, care about people, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and service of meals, snacks, and beverages Prepare and store food according to department procedures and state/federal regulations Ensure sanitary preparation and storage areas Transport trays and carts to or from resident floors Handle, store, and dispose of food supplies Follow facility policies and procedures for infection control and resident tray handling Communicate with the Director of Food Service or Assistant Director of Food Service throughout the shift
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to work well with peers in a congenial work environment Must maintain utmost compassion and dignity to residents Must be able to work every other weekend, as well as holidays and as needed, to ensure proper staffing levels
