Key Responsibilities:
As a Dietary Aide , you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met with care and attention to detail.
Your role will include:
Dietary Compliance:
Prepare meals according to residents' care plans, ensuring adherence to specific dietary restrictions (e.g., low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, texture-modified diets).
Meal Service:
Plate and serve meals to residents, either in the dining room or in their rooms, always serving with a smile.
Special Diets & Preferences:
Set up meal trays for special diets and individual preferences, ensuring residents enjoy meals that meet their unique needs.
Cleanliness & Hygiene:
Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing kitchen equipment, dining areas, and utensils per strict safety and hygiene standards.
Team Collaboration:
Assist with dishwashing, cleaning surfaces, and removing trash while maintaining a friendly and cooperative atmosphere.
Resident Interaction:
Serve residents with kindness and respect, always attentive to their needs, requests, and feedback.
What We're Looking For:
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Qualities We Value:
Patience, empathy, and a genuine care for the well-being of our residents.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Team Player:
