Dietary Aide Join the Prairie Heights Healthcare team and make a difference in the lives of our patients and residents! As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutrition and care to our residents in a warm and welcoming environment. About the
Role:
As a Dietary Aide at Prairie Heights Healthcare, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals, while also providing excellent customer service to our residents. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards, while also maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals to residents in accordance with their individual dietary needs and preferences Assist with food preparation, including meal prep, cooking, and plating Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to all health and safety standards Work closely with the dietary team to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards Provide excellent customer service to residents, including greeting and serving them with a smile Maintain confidentiality and adheres to all HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in food service or a related field is preferred, but not required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Familiarity with food preparation and sanitation standards Excellent communication and customer service skills
