Job Description

Description The Center on Aging and Health is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aid to join our team in Erwin. This full-time, on-site position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care within the Health Care industry. As a Dietary Aid, you will play a vital role in supporting the nutritional needs of our residents by assisting with meal preparation and ensuring dietary guidelines are met. Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation and service for patients Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas Help with inventory management and food storage Support the dietary team in delivering high-quality meals Communicate effectively with patients regarding their dietary needs Participate in training and development programs as required Adhere to health and safety regulations in food handling Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team Basic knowledge of nutrition and dietary practices is a plus Willingness to learn and follow directions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with good organizational skills Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients Must be able to lift and move food items as needed
