  • Memphis, TN Full-Time M-F | Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care Highlands Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary services team in Memphis, Tennesse e providing high-quality nutrition and dining services to residents in our skilled nursing facility.
The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while promoting resident satisfaction, nutritional well-being, and a positive dining experience.
Job Requirements:
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential required. ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain upon hire. Previous dietary management experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to long-term care food service operations. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a resident-centered focus.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the dietary department, including food production, meal service, sanitation, and staffing. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including CMS, state health department, and food safety standards. Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team to support residents' nutritional needs. Develop and maintain menus that meet therapeutic diet requirements and resident preferences. Manage department budgets, food purchasing, inventory, and cost controls. Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate dietary staff. Monitor food quality, resident satisfaction, and meal service performance. Maintain accurate records related to food safety, sanitation, staffing, and regulatory compliance. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
