Tray aide Harmony Care at Giddings 1181 North Williamson Street, Giddings, TX 78942 $12 an hour - Full-time $12 an hour - Full-time Tray Aide Job Summary The Tray Aide is responsible for assisting with meal tray preparation, delivery, and collection while ensuring residents receive the correct meals according to their prescribed diets. The Tray Aide works closely with dietary staff to provide quality meal service and maintain a clean and organized dining environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and assemble meal trays according to diet orders and menu selections. Deliver meal trays to residents in a timely manner. Collect meal trays and assist with cleanup after meals. Ensure residents receive the correct meals and beverages. Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in dietary areas. Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures. Wash dishes and assist with kitchen cleanup as needed. Report resident concerns, diet issues, or food service concerns to the Dietary Manager. Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, residents, and visitors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous food service experience preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work well with elderly residents and as part of a team. Food Handler's Certificate required or ability to obtain. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
