Job Description
- Must have Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine dietary needs and restrictions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized meal plans
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust meal plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and regulations
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of meals to patients
- Manage inventory of food and supplies, and coordinate ordering as needed
- Train and supervise dietary staff members
Experience:
- Previous experience in a dietary management role required
- Must have long-term care facility kitchen experience
- Knowledge of nutrition principles and dietary requirements for different medical conditions
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation methods related to dietary needs
- Experience working in an assisted living or healthcare setting is a plus
- Proficiency in tube feeding techniques and protocols As a Dietary Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive appropriate nutrition and dietary support.
