Job Description

Dietary Manager We are seeking a dedicated and certified Dietary Manager to join our skilled nursing facility team. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality nutritional care and meal services to our residents while complying with state and federal regulations. Plan, organize, and manage the dietary department to meet the nutritional needs of residents. Supervise dietary staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Ensure meals are prepared according to residents' dietary requirements, preferences, and care plans. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with healthcare staff to address residents' nutritional needs and implement dietary changes as needed. Develop and monitor the dietary department budget and maintain cost controls. Oversee inventory management, including ordering and storing food and supplies. Conduct routine audits of meal preparation, service, and kitchen cleanliness. Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications:
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or similar certification is required. Previous experience in a dietary or food service management role, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting. Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and dietary regulations in healthcare. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff to achieve positive outcomes. Compassionate and service-oriented mindset. Why Join Us?
