Position Summary The purpose of this position is to support food service operations by assisting with meal preparation, dining room service, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning. This role provides support in the kitchen and dining areas before, during, and after meals to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient dining experience for residents and patients. Key Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation according to Dietary Department procedures and recipes. Follow oral and written instructions related to food preparation and service. Safely operate kitchen equipment, cookware, bakeware, and appliances. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in accordance with sanitation guidelines. Report dietary, food safety, or equipment concerns to the Dietary Director promptly. Required Qualifications Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic. Basic communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to multitask, remain flexible, and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of dietary, food service, or kitchen experience. Experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
