Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Part-Time Dietary Aide, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals to our residents. This energetic position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on enhancing the well-being of individuals in assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare settings. You will assist residents with menun selections, serving in the dining room, cleaning the dining room after service, tally special menu items for the next day services. Proper sanitation, and ensuring that all dietary needs are met with care and professionalism. Your positive attitude and commitment to food safety will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for residents and staff alike. Responsibilities Assit residents with menu selections Serve meals to residents or patients with courtesy and respect, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food service equipment through regular sanitation and cleaning procedures Support food handling activities including bussing tables, organizing supplies for efficient meal service Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Maintain Resident Cafe's, stocked and cleaned Collaborate with kitchen staff and nursing teams to accommodate special dietary requirements or restrictions Experience Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred Demonstrated ability in food preparation, serving, and sanitation practices within a healthcare or culinary environment Familiarity with dietary department operations and food handling procedures is advantageous Strong time management skills to efficiently support meal schedules and cleaning routines Customer service experience that emphasizes compassion, patience, and clear communication Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation techniques related to kitchen work Previous dietary aide or food service roles that showcase reliability and attention to detail are beneficial Join us in making a meaningful difference through nourishing meals delivered with care! Pay:
