JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for setting up, transporting, serving, returning, and cleaning all patient food trays. Pour coffee, tea, juice and other beverages. Assist staff with food preparation and area set up as needed. Food preparation includes making snacks, salads, and other cold items as needed. Properly store utensils and supplies for patient and cafeteria areas. Clean areas of kitchen, equipment and floor of kitchen as assigned. Put away stock items and properly rotate, label and date items as required. Complete other tasks as assigned by lead or supervisor.

Nutrition Services provides nutritionally adequate and satisfying meals for both patients and customers. A safe and sanitary food service environment will be utilized according to standards of quality established by federal, state, and local agencies. Requirements

Education:
High school or GED preferred.
Experience:

Licensure/Certification:
None required.

Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions.. Environment & Working Conditions Potential for injury from washing, cleaning agents, and dish machine. Exposure to noise levels.
