This role plays a key part in resident satisfaction, health, and overall experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Maintain a clean, organized kitchen at all times Monitor food inventory and report shortages Accommodate special diets (mechanical soft, pureed, diabetic, etc.) Ensure meals are served on time and at proper temperatures Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleanup as needed Communicate with staff regarding resident dietary needs Qualifications Previous cooking experience preferred (healthcare or large-scale cooking a plus) Knowledge of safe food handling practices Ability to follow menus and portion control Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Experience in assisted living, CBRF, or nursing home setting Food Safety Certification (ServSafe or CDM) Compensation & Benefits Healthcare Insurance 401K Flexible scheduling Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth within a growing organization Why Join Us Family-oriented environment Consistent hours and stable schedule Make a direct impact on residents' daily lives
