Job Description

The Schmitt Woodland Hills Dietary Department is looking for a new person to join our team! We are searching for a part time Dietary Aide. If you have a passion for serving the elderly and making their day this is the position for you. At Schmitt Woodland Hills you will enjoy working in a fun environment and a team atmosphere! The hours for the open positions are 10:30am-7:00-pm, working approximately 34 hours biweekly. This job requires working every other weekend and one weekday per week scheduled, with the opportunity to pick up additional hours. The Dietary Aide position is responsible for dishing up salads, desserts, etc., meal set up and service, meal and dining room clean-up, and other general kitchen duties. Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menu and established portion control procedures Provide excellent customer service to our residents Assist in ensuring proper temperature, quality and appearance of food being served Proper storage of raw and leftover foods Complete the daily or scheduled cleaning duties, including clearing tables after meals, doing dishes, and cleaning work areas Perform all daily tasks in accordance with established sanitary, safety and infection control policies and procedures Ensure that the department and all food storage and/or work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner Ensure that the equipment and supplies are properly maintained and arranged Maintain habits of good personal hygiene Promptly report all hazardous conditions, equipment, accidents and incidents to the Dietary Manager Complete necessary forms and reports for submission to
