This position will be scheduled every other weekend to assist with the noon meal. Reports To Director of Assisted Living Responsibilities Assists in all phases of dining room and kitchen set up and clean up Preparation of meals Serves food to the residents and assists them as needed Practices proper infection control, food safety, and food storage and handling techniques and follows all applicable policies and procedures Maintains clean and sanitary kitchen, storage, and dining areas Shows respect for the residents and the residents' dietary needs at all times. Demonstrates an appreciation of the heritage, values, and wisdom of the residents and an understanding of the aging process. Shows respect for residents and residents' belongings at all times. Qualifications & Experience Prior experience in Geriatric, long term care, or assisted living is preferred, but not required.
