This role supports the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and tray assembly according to dietary guidelines Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Follow all food safety and infection control procedures Stock and replenish supplies as needed Work collaboratively with cooks and dietary staff to ensure quality service Qualifications Previous dietary, food service, or kitchen experience preferred Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and reliability Good communication and teamwork skills Must have a current Food Handler's Card (required) Work Environment Fast-paced healthcare/skilled nursing setting Team-oriented environment focused on resident care and nutrition Position Requirements Part Time Schedule (3:30PM-8:00PM) Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Why Join Us?
