Registered Dietitian (PRN / Paid Per Visit) PRN | Paid Per Visit | Flexible Schedule | Southern Arizona Dependable Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary hospice team on a PRN, Paid Per Visit basis . This flexible opportunity is ideal for a dietitian seeking meaningful work while maintaining control of their schedule. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing clinical support. About the Role As a Hospice Registered Dietitian, you will provide individualized nutritional assessments and recommendations that support comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients receiving end-of-life care. You will work closely with patients, families, and the hospice care team to ensure nutrition interventions align with each patient's goals of care. This position is compensated on a per-visit basis , offering flexibility and autonomy while making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their loved ones. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for hospice patients Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient needs and goals Educate patients, caregivers, and families on nutrition-related concerns and meal planning Provide practical recommendations that promote comfort-focused care Collaborate with nurses, physicians, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required Minimum of two years of experience in nutrition or dietary services preferred Hospice, home health, geriatric, or palliative care experience is a plus, but not required Arizona residency required Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team Why Join Dependable Hospice?
