The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing nutritional guidance and support to clients, focusing on their unique health needs and goals. This role is essential in promoting overall wellness through dietary education and health coaching. The practitioner will work closely with individuals ages 12-17, particularly in long-term care settings, to enhance their quality of life and mental health through nutrition. Responsibilities Use a set curriculum based on Nutritional therapy and root cause nutrition. Leading weekly groups of 2-15, focusing on nutrition education, healthy eating habits, and overall wellness. Collaborate with mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Educate clients about the physiological aspects of nutrition and how it affects their health and mental. Skills We are NOT hiring RDs at this time. Proficient in evaluation techniques for assessing nutritional needs. Interest in nutrition for mental health. In-depth understanding of teenage physiology as it relates to nutrition and health. Excellent communication with young adults. Ability to communicate complex nutritional concepts in an understandable manner. Experience with Eating disorders and disordered eating is a plus, but not required. Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of our clients through effective nutritional therapy! Pay:
