Lakeport, CA Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian / Dietary Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, ensuring dietary compliance, and supporting the overall health and well-being of residents/patients. Key Responsibilities Meet all health, compliance, and competency requirements Attend and participate in daily morning meetings/stand-ups Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and health plans to develop individualized dietary care plans Provide nutritional counseling to patients/residents as needed Monitor food service operations to ensure compliance with: Nutritional standards Safety and sanitation guidelines Quality expectations State and federal regulations Oversee food control systems , including: Food temperatures Portion control Preparation methods Food presentation Inspect diet trays to ensure compliance with physician-prescribed diets Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, dialysis dietitians , and other healthcare professionals Maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and staff Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RD) or eligible (preferred) Strong understanding of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets Knowledge of state and federal dietary regulations in healthcare settings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Benefits (if applicable) Competitive hourly rate Flexible part-time schedule Supportive team environment Apply Today If you are passionate about improving patient care through nutrition, we encourage you to apply!
