Job Description

Pacific Coast Post-Acute is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the nutritional care of residents in our 149-bed facility, ensuring their dietary needs are met while supporting overall health, recovery, and quality of life.
Compensation Pay Rate:
$45.00 - $60.00 per hour (based on experience) Position Overview As a Registered Dietitian, you will assess, plan, and monitor the nutritional status of each resident. You will collaborate closely with the clinical team, dietary department, and administration to provide expert guidance on nutrition-related care and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents Develop and implement individualized care plans Monitor lab values, food intake, and nutritional status Provide guidance on therapeutic diets and food/drug interactions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident care Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local dietary regulations Support resident satisfaction and overall dining experience Requirements Current Registered Dietitian (RD) license required Strong knowledge of skilled nursing dietary regulations and compliance standards Understanding of the aging process and the nutritional needs of long-term care residents Ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with staff and residents Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field from an accredited institution Completion of an ADA-approved training program 1-3 years of experience in acute care or long-term care settings Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and/or US Foods systems Why Join Pacific Coast Post-Acute?
