Registered Dietitian (RD)
Location:
San Bernardino, CA Pay:
$35-$37/hour (W2 with benefits)
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to support a community-based nutrition program serving diverse and underserved populations. This role combines clinical nutrition, education, and resource coordination to improve health outcomes and access to food. This position is ideal for newly licensed dietitians seeking hands-on experience in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Assessment Conduct nutritional screenings, assessments, and periodic reassessments Verify client eligibility, including income documentation Nutrition Planning and Support Develop individualized nutrition care plans and meal plans with clients Assist clients in setting realistic health and nutrition goals Follow up and evaluate client progress toward goals Connect clients to food resources and healthcare services Education and Outreach Plan, coordinate, and lead nutrition education workshops and group sessions Provide guidance on healthy eating, food access, and lifestyle habits Share information about community food and nutrition services Program Support and Documentation Maintain accurate and current client nutrition records Enter daily service data and track client outcomes Assist with program evaluation and quality assurance initiatives Prepare monthly, bi-annual, and annual reports Additional Duties Support overall program operations as needed Record time worked accurately in internal systems
Qualifications Required:
Registered Dietitian (RD) licensed in California Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with diverse and underserved populations Willingness to learn and adapt in a community-based setting
Preferred:
